RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • Lead the entire contract management process, including RFP/RFQ reviews, proposal preparation and submission, contract negotiation, and contract administration through to close-out.    
  • Serve as the lead contracts administrator for the respective federal market contract portfolio, ensuring meticulous management and strategic oversight.    
  • Review and recommend contract terms and conditions to guarantee compliance with company policies, government specifications, and requirements.    
  • Provide expert advice to technical and program personnel on contractual rights, obligations, and best practices.    
  • Utilize experience in identifying, mitigating, and resolving program risks and issues to ensure proactive management and strategic resolution.    
  • Participate actively in program management review meetings, debriefs, and kickoff meetings, ensuring contractual aspects are aligned with program objectives.    
  • Negotiate, review, and draft a variety of contractual documents, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and company risk policies and procedures.    
  • Prepare and manage subcontractor proposals and agreements, ensuring alignment with primary contracts and program objectives.    
  • Navigate and utilize federal government submission portals proficiently, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.    
  • Contribute to proposal color team reviews, providing critical insights and recommendations to enhance proposal quality and competitiveness.    
  • Enforce compliance with all government regulations, corporate policies, and procedures, maintaining legal and ethical standards in all contractual activities.    
  • Conduct and facilitate training sessions on contract terms, FAR compliance, and contract procedures, empowering team members and stakeholders.    
  • Play a significant role in recommending and preparing new or revised policies, SOPs, and efficiencies related to proposals and contracts administration.
  • Collaborate across multiple business functions, ensuring cohesive and integrated contract management.    
  • Apply experience with Federal contracts and GSA Schedules to diversify and strengthen the company's contract portfolio.    
  • Successfully navigates and interprets complex FAR requirements in the context of government contracts.    
  • Other duties as assigned.      
  
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS   
   
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in government contracts.    
  • Demonstrated proficiency in contract law, with a proven successful contract management track record.    
  • Significant experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and administration, underpinned by a keen attention to detail and precision.    
  • Exceptional communication skills, adept at liaising with a diverse range of stakeholders and presenting complex contractual information in a clear, accessible manner.   
  • A visionary leader with a talent for thinking outside the box, taking the initiative, and driving positive change.    
  • In-depth knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other relevant federal procurement regulations.    
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally and build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.    
  • Ability to perform essential duties and responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS   
 
   
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related discipline.     
 
  
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS
 
  • Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) certificate issued by the National Contract Management Association (NCMA).    
  • Practical experience with contract management systems or software, especially familiarity with Unanet, to enhance contract administration and project lifecycle management.    
  • A talent for multi-tasking and independent operation, thriving in dynamic, fast-paced environments and delivering exceptional results.    
  
CLEARANCE
 
  • Due to the support of government contracts and the position being located at a cleared facility, this position requires U.S. citizenship.

 

PAY INFORMATION
The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $115,000 - $160,000. The final salary offered will be determined on a variety of factors, including the selected candidate's qualifications, experience, education, skills, internal equity, and market considerations, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. This salary range represents iTech AG's good faith estimate for this position at the time of posting, and not all candidates will qualify for the top of the range.
