Job Description

This position additionally serves as an analyst intern position. The ideal candidate is someone with experience as an Intelligence Analyst I (TOG) who does not meet the experience prerequisites of the Intelligence Analyst II (Strategic Threat Assessment and Risk) position. Once fully successful at the duties, the successful completion of Intelligence II (Strategic Threat Assessment and Risk) duties can be considered toward the required experience for the Intelligence II (Strategic Threat Assessment and Risk) position.

Key Duties
 
• Analyzes alarm logs daily and corresponds with Regional Security Officers at overseas posts, and the Technical Operations Group (TOG) as necessary, to resolve causes of intrusion detection system alarm events.
• Analyzes intrusion detection system alarm events from overseas posts daily to detect alarm anomalies and trends.
• Assists in creating and delivering monthly anomaly alarm reports for overseas posts.
• Records causes of intrusion detection system alarm events from overseas posts daily.
• Analyzes and produces reports for additional alarm systems as directed by

 
Requirements
• Current U.S. Government interim Top Secret clearance, able to obtain a permanent Top Secret security clearance, and qualify for SCI access.
• Eligible for and able to obtain and maintain required security clearance/access approvals.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact and collaborate with groups or individuals outside their own organization.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft O365.
• Demonstrated experience working with data throughout its lifecycle, including collection, management, analysis, reporting, and secure disposition.
• Geospatial imagery experience is a plus, as is experience with security video and alarm systems.
• Highly adaptable, positive attitude, and ability to work as a member of a team.
