Join General Dynamics IT and be a part of the team of men and women that solve some of the world’s most complex technical challenges. We are seeking multi-disciplined International/FMS Security Specialist to join the F-35 JPO program in Arlington, VA.

The F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) supports development, acquisition, fielding, modernization, and sustainment of the F-35 joint strike fighter. The F-35 JPO Security Directorate provides full spectrum multi-disciplined security support to protect F-35 technology and information across its enterprise and throughout the acquisition and sustainment lifecycle.Ā 

The role ofĀ theĀ SecurityĀ Specialist-InternationalĀ isĀ to support program security tasksĀ andĀ provideĀ SME-level guidanceĀ related to foreign military sales of the F-35:

  • Provide multi-disciplined security guidance and mentorship to F-35 Partner and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) security professionalsĀ Ā 

  • Provide continuous evaluation of F-35 Partner and FMS security posture and provide written updates to International Security Manager, Program Security Officer, and assigned International Security SpecialistĀ Ā 

  • Assist F-35 Partner and FMS security professionals in developing country-unique security documents to ensure protection of F-35 assets at theĀ appropriate levelĀ Ā 

  • Develop and provide training to F-35 Partner and FMS security professionals toĀ facilitateĀ building,Ā implementingĀ and managing a comprehensive F-35 security programĀ Ā 

  • Assist F-35 Partner and FMS security professionals in ensuring security policies and proceduresĀ are in compliance withĀ Special Access Program (SAP), Classified Military Information (CMI), and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)Ā in accordance withĀ U.S Government security requirementsĀ Ā 

  • Provide general, physical, and cybersecurity support and training to F-35 Partner and FMS security professionalsĀ Ā 

  • Provide security support at air shows, fighterĀ competitionsĀ and other collaborative eventsĀ Ā 

Required Qualifications:Ā 

  • Bachelor’s Degree; Master's preferred

  • 10+ years of experience within the International security arena

  • Experience with Foreign Military Sales (FMS)

  • Demonstrated knowledge of DoDM 5205.07 Volumes Demonstrated knowledge of Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705Ā 

  • KnowledgeĀ of US International/Foreign Affairs objectives, Arms Export Control Act (AECA), and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) processes, and/or understanding of international relations policyĀ objectivesĀ within Security Assistance

  • Secret clearanceĀ

The likely salary range for this position is $111,155 - $150,385. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
