Hosting Services Lead

Responsible for analyzing and directing IT related activities of the organization/program with managerial responsibilities for assigned direct reports. Accountable for ensuring continuity of computer, network, and application services for users throughout the organization and customers’ external to the organization through planning, technical leadership, and project coordination and management.

• Lead cloud, virtualization, storage, backup, and monitoring teams.
• Ensure 24x7 Tier I/II support delivery and SLA compliance.
• Drive automation initiatives for infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Coordinate maintenance windows, change requests, and deployment schedules.
• Develop and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and as-built documentation.
• Manage on-call rotation for infrastructure teams.
• Provide technical escalation and problem resolution leadership.
• Collaborate with engineering and development teams on infrastructure requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 7+ years infrastructure operations experience (compute, storage, virtualization) with 3+ years team leadership experience.
• ITIL Foundation certified.

Other Job Specific Skills

• AWS/Azure certifications.
• Experience with VMware and NetApp (or equivalent technologies).
• Expert in: VMware/Hyper-V, AWS/Azure cloud, enterprise storage systems.
• Strong knowledge: Infrastructure as Code, automation tools, monitoring platforms.
• Public Trust Clearance (or ability to obtain).

Compensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract-specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience. The compensation displayed for this role is a general guideline based on these factors and is unique to each role.
