Who You Are & What You’ll Do

The Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) will design, develop, deliver, and evaluate a comprehensive asset forfeiture training program aligned with organizational mission requirements. This role involves managing a curriculum consisting of 5 courses (25–30 modules each) covering the full asset lifecycle, financial management, and legal compliance. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in adult education with classroom facilitation skills to deliver practical, role-based, and performance-oriented training, in particular with the Kirkpatrick model.   

What You Bring to the Table - Requirements

Minimum Requirements:
  • Security Clearance:  Current or obtainable Public Trust clearance 
  • Education:  Bachelor’s degree in education, adult education, curriculum and instruction, or related degree (A graduate degree in education or related fields is preferred).  In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, at least ten (10) years of work experience as described below.  
  • Experience - Methodological Knowledge: At least five (5) years of work experience with formal training program evaluation using industry methodologies such as the Kirkpatrick model, developing training program performance metrics and reporting mechanisms.
  • Instructional Track Record: Proven professional teaching and facilitation experience spanning both physical classroom and virtual environments.
  • Advanced Software Proficiency: Expert-level hands-on experience utilizing Microsoft Office and corporate productivity suites, specifically:
    • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
    • Microsoft Visio (process mapping)
    • Microsoft Project (timeline/milestone tracking)
  • Delivery Platforms: Familiarity or direct experience managing virtual sessions and tracking enrollment through MS Teams, Webex, and federal or institutional Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary Range: $80,000 – $105,000 annually.
