Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized Junior Analyst to provide change management and communication support to executive-level, high-ranking Navy civilian leadership and governance boards. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex discussions into clear, professional documentation and briefings. The analyst will also support content development and visual design for high-profile PowerPoint presentations related to Navy financial and systems modernization efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend recurring meetings with Navy stakeholders; capture detailed notes, synthesize discussions, and track all action items to closure.
  • Write clear, concise summaries of complex technical and programmatic content for leadership decision-making.
  • Edit and format briefing materials and other written content to meet Navy standards for grammar, tone, structure, and branding.
  • Create visually compelling PowerPoint presentations that simplify complex information for use in governance and executive briefings.
  • Liaise with personnel from Navy financial systems, Commands, and program offices to ensure content alignment and accuracy.
  • Maintain content version control and participate in quality reviews to ensure consistency across all deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • 1 - 5 years of experience in an analyst, executive support, change management, or program coordination role.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Word.
  • Excellent written communication, attention to detail, and editorial judgment.
  • Familiarity with Navy/DoD environments, governance processes, or financial systems is a plus.
  • Experience supporting senior leaders or working with cross-functional teams.

Location: local to the National Capital Region; 15% onsite, 85% remote
