Americans for Prosperity is part of the Stand Together philanthropic community. Our Policy Intern will partner with members of the policy team to advance the vision of Americans for Prosperity. In this role, you will work in collaboration with others on the AFP Policy team to inform our policy priorities. The candidate will work with key partners to provide policy research and writing, legislative tracking, and attend events that further the policy priorities of AFP and Stand Together.

How you will contribute:
  • Tracking current federal litigation of interest to AFP and Stand Together
  • Producing policy analysis and research material for internal and external audiences, including but not limited to issue summaries, advocacy tools, testimony, op-eds, and other material needed across a wide range of issue sets
  • Providing project management and organizational support for policy team projects and products
  • Tracking and summarizing federal and state policy inflection points as needed
  • Supporting the grassroots and government affairs teams as opportunities arise (events, etc)
  • Assisting with drafting policy products, copy editing, and research support
