Key job responsibilities
• Engage with government officials, community organizations, or equivalent participants at Amazon facilities
• Develop strategic content to align business priorities with public policy goals
• Cultivate partnership between internal and external stakeholders
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of professional experience in strategizing, planning, executing policy-related events with government officials and agencies, community organizations, companies, trade associations, or equivalent organizations
- An ability and desire to travel is required. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- 5+ years of relevant public policy and advocacy experience
- Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to interact with senior professionals effectively and comfortably, including policymakers and senior executives
- Ability to drive team objectives by anticipating needs, thinking critically and creatively, and working collaboratively.
- Strong understanding of government relations, external advocacy, and communication tactics.
- Holds a high level of discretion and professionalism.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
