Position Title: PEGA Compliance Lead
Location: Hybrid (Arlington, VA)

POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pega Compliance Lead to join our growing team. The role will oversee compliance strategy and execution across our enterprise Pega environment. The ideal candidate will be someone who can bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions and has the ability to align team efforts with the organization’s strategic goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams, client, and senior leadership, providing timely communication of compliance activities, risks, and dependencies
- Lead and coordinate all aspects of compliance team, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating project and operational activities
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather and document requirements and work closely with the development team to understand technical requirements and resolve challenges
- Oversee the implementation and monitoring of compliance controls using tools such as static code analysis and penetration testing
- Apply best practices and agile methodologies to enhance project workflows and efficiency
- Manage, mentor, and provide day-to-day direction to the compliance team. Foster collaboration and accountability amongst project team members, ensuring a high-performance culture
- Able to work flexible hours to accommodate cross-time-zone collaboration, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associates degree plus a minimum of seven years’ experience, Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of five years’ experience, or seven years’ experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree
- One industry recognized cloud/cyber certification is required (CCSK, Security+, SSCP, etc.) Candidates must be willing to provide evidence of certification within 30 days of start date
- Experience working in Agile environments with tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- One or more Pega certifications preferred
- 5+ years in the Pega ecosystem preferred
- 5+ years of experience in project/program management, including leading cross-functional teams
- Extensive knowledge of audit procedures, static code analysis tools, and 508 Accessibility standards, including proficiency with assistive technologies like JAWS and Sa11y preferred
- Background working with the Department of Veterans Affairs and/or other government agencies preferred
WORKING CONDITIONS
Standard Business hours are Monday through Friday. Occasional extended or weekend hours may be required based on operational needs.
