Position Summary:

Personnel Security Analyst III

Location: 

Hanover, MD or Fort Meade, MD

Education Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in personnel security, suitability, adjudication, continuous vetting, or related federal security operations 
  • Expert knowledge mission and specific task knowledge related to any of the following: o Security policies, continuous evaluation methodologies, and adjudicative guidelines (SEAD 3, SEAD 4, ICD 704). Experience conducting high-level risk assessments and advising leadership on security determinations.
  • Proficiency with personnel security systems (DISS, Scattered Castles, NBIS, e-QIP) and classified reporting tools. 
  • Ability to develop procedures to enhance operations. 
  • Strong communication skills for briefing executives, government officials, and stakeholders. 
  • MS 365 Skills preferred.

Responsibilities:

 

SANCORP is seeking a Personnel Security Analyst III in support of Personnel Security Support Services within the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency. The following are examples of responsibilities: 

  • Oversee Personnel security programs, ensuring compliance with government policies. 
  • Provide subject matter expertise on national security risks, foreign influence, and insider threats. 
  • Develop and implement security training programs for junior and mid-level analysts. 
  • Conduct briefings and advise senior government officials on personnel security issues. 
  • Contribute to procedure development and improvement of vetting methodologies.
