JOB OVERVIEW:
Position: Buyer
Location: Watauga, TX area
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Purchase materials, components, and supplies based on production needs
Create, track, and manage purchase orders from placement to delivery
Obtain vendor quotes and negotiate competitive pricing, lead times, and terms
Monitor inventory levels to anticipate purchasing requirements
Collaborate with Production, Operations, and Inventory teams to resolve delays or quality issues
QUALIFICATIONS:
2+ years of purchasing/buying experience (manufacturing environment preferred)
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, and ERP systems
Strong negotiation, communication, and multi-tasking skills
Cable, electrical, or manufacturing industry experience is a plus
