Job Summary:Â Â Â
 We are seeking a highly motivated and effective Receptionist to staff USTDA's reception areas on multiple floors. This position serves as the first point of contact for visitors including high-level foreign government officials, Congressional staff members, and senior executives from private businesses, requiring exceptional customer service skills and professional demeanor while managing visitor access, telephone operations, and administrative support functions.Â

Responsibilities and Duties:Â
- Staff and operate the USTDA reception areas during business hoursÂ
- Receive incoming visitors and telephone calls and issue visitor badgesÂ
- Greet and assist high-level U.S. and foreign officials, Congressional staff, and senior executivesÂ
- Coordinate visitor access with building security and maintain visitor logsÂ
- Arrange local transportation services and make reservations for visitor parkingÂ
- Distribute USTDA parking vouchers and Metro cards to guests and staffÂ
- Accept and distribute incoming mail and courier packages as requiredÂ
- Receive and log facilities requests into the building management tracking systemÂ
- Respond to facility-related submissions and generate and close work order ticketsÂ
- Monitor the shared facilities email account and escalate issues to the Office of AdministrationÂ
- Coordinate conference room scheduling and assist with meeting arrangementsÂ
- Maintain the reception areas in a well-organized, clean, and professional conditionÂ
- Handle reservations for USTDA’s Business Center and conference rooms (excluding Director’s Conference Room)Â
- Maintain an events calendar for the Business Center and all Agency conference roomsÂ
- Review and approve staff booking requestsÂ
- Provide other administrative support duties as requiredÂ

Qualifications and Skills:Â
- Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalentÂ
- Minimum experience: one (1) year of experience in a professional office environment as a support assistant or receptionist, or equivalent positionÂ
- Experience handling phone calls, emails, and mail, serving as the point of contact for internal/external communicationÂ
- Experience managing calendars, scheduling meetings, appointments, and greeting high-level guestsÂ
- Experience creating and distributing correspondence, reports, and other documentsÂ
