About the Role

The Gates Hudson team is seeking a professional, empathetic, outgoing, resident resource administrator with property management administration background.

This position provides superior customer service, possesses detailed knowledge of Arlington County community assistance programs and application procedures, and performs essential functions as they relate to the administration of the resident resource program.

What You’ll Do

Resident Support & Case Management

  • Address resident concerns; collecting and maintaining data; disseminating information regarding various community programs related to clinical, social, and related services

  • Conduct assessments of resident needs and assist in developing individualized support plans

  • Provide case management services as needed and requested for ongoing open issues

  • Maintain accurate records of resident interactions and resource utilization

  • Participate/attend regular group meetings with Residents, to provide information and to obtain feedback

Community Engagement & Program Administration

  • Assist in coordinating periodic resident surveys, compiling and presenting results, and recommending and implementing enhancements based on results to community

  • Maintain a record of current program documents, processes and procedures on various software

  • Perform other resident resource administrative duties as assigned

Communication & Coordination

  • Handle calls from owners, vendors, residents, and community advocates

  • Provide administrative support for meetings, including preparing agendas and taking notes

  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner

  • Ability to interpret, evaluate and communicate detailed written or verbal instructions to others accurately and easily

Administrative & Data Management

  • Maintain data entry in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, computerized databases, and online resources, general office duties (scanning, copying, printing, presentation hardware)

  • Ability to keep work organized and to complete assignments in a timely manner; the ability to meet deadlines

  • Competence and experience working through difficult or urgent situations calmly and effectively; proven problem-resolution skills

  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and strong commitment to customer service

What We’re Looking For

  • ************Bilingual in Spanish***********
  • High School Diploma; additional qualifications as an Administrative or Resident coordinator are a plus

  • Proven experience in customer service or community outreach roles

  • Must have 1–2 years’ experience in the property management industry or related office position

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

  • Compassionate and empathic demeanor with a dedication to helping others

  • Knowledge of community resources and social service programs is a plus

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed

  • A driver’s license is required

  • General knowledge of Internet use and using Internet browsers, including changing/creating passwords, security question answers, and bookmarking web addresses

  • Knowledge of fair housing regulations

  • Proficiency in using property management software and Microsoft Office (specifically Outlook), Word and Excel
