Job DetailsJob Location: Arlington, VA 22202Salary Range: $115,000.00 - $125,000.00 SalaryTravel Percentage: NoneMayvin seeks a Senior Contract Specialist to support the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) contract in the Asset Forfeiture Division (AFD). The ideal candidate must be familiar with various federal government contract types and be able to work independently. Candidate must possess proficient knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), specifically FAR Parts 5,8,10,12, and 15.    Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must be able to undergo and pass a background investigation.    Responsibilities: Assist government contracting officers with large and small purchase contract actions based on the various cradle-to-grave functions Prepare for award and assist with administering various contracts and task orders Review solicitation packages for completeness Prepare determination and findings in accordance with the FAR Research and provide statistical data to contracting officers and prepare market research documentaion Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with at least 24 hours of business credits Minimum 8 years of related working experience demonstrates that the candidate meets the required duties and responsibilities A working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel   Preferred Qualifications: Minimum 8 years of experience supporting the Federal Government in a contract-related field or assisting a Federal Government Contracting Officer as a contractor.
