This position also leads efforts to improve data discoverability, interoperability, and responsible data sharing.   Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must undergo a Background Investigation (BI)   Responsibilities: Facilitates development and execution of enterprise data governance strategies Advises senior executives on data policy, risk, and modernization priorities Facilitate implementation of data governance policies, standards, and procedures Handles data stewardship roles across the organization Assists in developing frameworks for data quality, metadata management, data lineage, and data classification Ensures compliance with federal data mandates (e.g., evidence-based policymaking, open data requirements) Facilitates enterprise data quality improvement initiatives Handles policies for data retention, archiving, and disposal Facilitates enterprise data catalog and metadata management tools Supports open data initiatives and public data release strategies Ensures discoverability and appropriate access controls for data assets Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Management, Information Systems, Public Administration, Business) Minimum of 9 years' experience in data governance, data management, or enterprise data strategy Strong understanding of federal data laws, regulations, and mandates (e.g., open data, evidence‑based policymaking) Demonstrated experience developing and implementing data governance frameworks, standards, or policies Experience advising senior leaders on data policy, risk, compliance, or modernization initiatives   Preferred Qualifications: Experience with enterprise metadata management, data catalog tools, or data lineage practices Background supporting federal agencies, including experience with cross‑agency data sharing or interoperability efforts   About Mavyin Mayvin is more than a workplace—it’s a community built on innovation, ingenuity, and impact.  Enjoy outstanding benefits and amenities, a truly supportive work environment, and continuous opportunities for professional growth.
