About the Opportunity

Fathom Management is seeking an experienced Senior IT Process Consultant / Business Analyst to support a Department of Justice (DEA) modernization initiative. This individual will work closely with government stakeholders, program leadership, and technical teams to improve business processes, document requirements, and support enterprise IT initiatives.

This position is ideal for a seasoned Federal Business Analyst with strong PMO experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document current and future-state business processes.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with DEA stakeholders.
  • Develop business process flows, workflows, and documentation using Microsoft Visio and related tools.
  • Support PMO activities including project reporting, governance, and documentation.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), business requirements, and functional specifications.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to ensure successful implementation of business solutions.
  • Support Agile project planning and sprint activities.
  • Assist leadership with process improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare executive briefings, reports, and presentations.
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with federal standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience)
  • 7+ years of Federal Government Business Analysis experience
  • Experience supporting Federal IT modernization initiatives
