Senior Preconstruction Manager 

We are seeking a motivated Senior Preconstruction Manager to work on commercial and multifamily projects in the DMV area. The office is located near Arlington, VA, with travel to projects as needed. 

Senior Preconstruction Manager Responsibilities

• Manage the preconstruction process to include:

  • Coordinating project teams both internal and external

  • Creating and managing budgets 

  • Ensuring engineering projects to meet budgets

  • Guiding owners and design teams through the design development process

  • Managing a group of estimators throughout the entire bid process

  • Collaborating with operations and project management personnel to ensure work is coordinated 

• Act as a working manager and perform takeoffs, write and qualify scopes and prepare bid packages

Senior Preconstruction Manager  Qualifications

• Must have 10 years’ experience as a Preconstruction Manager for a commercial GC who builds projects from the ground up.

• Must be able to scope every trade on commercial projects

• Ability to prepare estimates with minimal information

• Valid driver’s license required

• Willingness to travel

Senior Preconstruction Manager Compensation & Benefits

• Salary is flexible- $190k-$230k, but negotiable higher or lower depending on experience level.
