The Service Operations Assistant supports front‑end and store service operations by helping ensure efficient daily execution, strong customer service standards, and operational readiness. This role assists service leadership with associate support, task coordination, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Support daily front‑end operations, including registers, service desk, self‑checkout, and customer flow
- Assist with coordinating coverage, breaks, and task assignments to maintain service levels
- Help resolve customer issues, questions, refunds, and exchanges professionally
- Support execution of service initiatives, promotions, and operational updates
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of all service areas
- Assist with basic reporting, audits, and follow‑up as assigned
- Assist with onboarding, training, and coaching of service associates
- Provide real‑time direction and support during peak business periods
- Reinforce service standards, attendance expectations, and appearance guidelines
- Act as a communication liaison between service associates and leadership
- Provide supervisory coverage as scheduled or assigned
- Model friendly, professional, and solutions‑focused customer service
- Promote a welcoming and efficient front‑end environment
- Support service recovery efforts to maintain customer satisfaction
- Support cash handling, loss prevention, and accountability procedures
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor guidelines, and safety standards
- Assist with inspection readiness and corrective action tracking
- Ensure proper use and care of front‑end systems and equipment
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Lead, coordinator, or supervisory experience a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with front‑end tasks
- Fast‑paced retail environment with frequent customer interaction
- Role requires mobility, multitasking, and attention to detail
Pay Transparency:
Starting rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and may vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Candidates with unique qualifications may be considered for compensation above this range. Dependent on length of service, hours worked, any applicable collective bargaining agreement and/or Company policy, benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay*, PTO/Vacation pay*, paid holidays*, bereavement pay and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401(k) eligibility). Â Associates in this position may be eligible for a quarterly bonus, subject to Company bonus plans. Applications are accepted on an on-going basis.
