Nightwing is supporting a U.S. Government customer to provide support for onsite incident response to civilian Government agencies and critical asset owners who experience cyber-attacks, providing immediate investigation and resolution.  Contract personnel perform investigations to characterize of the severity of breaches, develop mitigation plans, and assist with the restoration of services.  Nightwing is seeking a Test Engineer to support this critical customer mission.  Â

Responsibilities Include:Â
Defines, plans and performs test assignments for large scale, complex, software and hardware systemsÂ
Establishes automated and manual test methods and techniques, develops test plans and requirements, writes test procedures and reports, and conducts testsÂ
Participates in test readiness reviews and design reviewsÂ
Applies software development experience and knowledge to ensure test validity, integrity, quality, and executionÂ
Conducts tests which include collaborating closely with others in establishing language, database, and computer requirements along with configuration management techniquesÂ
Performs test planning and implementation using state-of-the-art technologies, processes, and frameworks (e.g. SAFe or similar framework)Â
Develops and maintains test documentation including plans, procedures, reports, etc.Â
Analyzes test results and accurately discuss them with management and teamsÂ
Documents and keeps program management informed of deviations from customer requirementsÂ

Required Skills:Â
U.S. CitizenshipÂ
Active Secret clearance.  Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearanceÂ
Must be able to obtain DHS SuitabilityÂ
6+ years of directly relevant experience, ideally in an agile environmentÂ
2+ years of automated and/or manual test experienceÂ
Excellent and applicable experience with Agile Continuous Development / Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery along with hands-on experience with automated test tools such as Docker, Jenkins, Rational Team Concert, JIRA, Git, Chef, Ansible, Puppet, Junit, JMeter, RSpec, Cucumber, and other industry-leading tools and techniquesÂ
2+ years’ experience developing software with Java, Cucumber, Gherkin or similar language in an agile environmentÂ
 Experience with requirements development and management along with associatedÂ
Ability to plan, conduct and conduct security testingÂ
Meaningful and relevant experience in developing test proceduresÂ
Experience with systems engineering and configuration management processesÂ
Able to generate test-related documentation as necessaryÂ
Excellent teamwork skills including ability to work well with agile development teams, customers, and coworkers at all levelsÂ
Ability to work collaboratively across agencies and physical locationsÂ
