Job Description

Mission: Independently perform basic operating tasks in his/her unit/department, in keeping with the instructions provided by his/her supervisor, in order to satisfy the project’s needs. They are responsible for carrying out repairs and maintenance of machinery and equipment. They carry out regular checks that the facilities are in good operating conditions; carry out general maintenance work and work on elements for automation of services.

Required Skills and Competencies

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to follow instructions from Management or senior leadership.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and general repairs.
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Computer skills
  • Strong communication skills

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certification in HVAC, plumbing or general maintenance
  • 3+ years experience preferred.

Physical, Licensing & Compliance Requirements

  • Ability to work in a manufacturing, warehouse, and outdoor environment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, climb, and move throughout the facility to perform essential job functions.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to safely operate company vehicles, forklifts, and golf carts as required.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment and ongoing background checks and drug testing in accordance with company policy and applicable laws.
