Laboratory Assistant (Histology) (Per-Diem)Job Description
Purpose & Scope:
The Laboratory Assistant provides valuable assistance to the Histotechnologist and the Pathologists in maintaining facilities and providing the materials necessary for the practice of Anatomic Pathology. The facilities include the areas for autopsies, surgical pathology gross, frozen sections and Histopathology.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience:
One year of laboratory experience is preferred.
