Position Overview

Chartis Federal is seeking an experienced Program Manager to serve as the overall contract lead supporting the Customer. The Program Manager will provide leadership, direction, and oversight for contract activities supporting the Strategic Planning Office (SPO). This individual will serve as the primary interface between Customer leadership and contractor personnel and will be responsible for coordinating operational support, acquisition support, and transition planning activities. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and program management skills supporting federal government environments.


This position is contingent upon award.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the Customer and contractor personnel. 
  • Provide overall leadership and direction for contract execution. 
  • Ensure contract requirements, deliverables, and performance objectives are met. 
  • Lead recurring status meetings and support Customer engagements. 
  • Oversee support provided to Strategic Planning Office operations. 
  • Coordinate activities across administrative, acquisition, financial, and operational support functions. 
  • Ensure contractor support activities are aligned with Customer priorities. 
  • Provide oversight of acquisition lifecycle support activities. 
  • Coordinate acquisition-related activities with Customer stakeholders and contracting personnel. 
  • Support transition planning and execution efforts to ensure continuity of operations. 
  • Monitor contract performance and support timely delivery of required services and deliverables. 
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders across multiple organizations. 
  • Provide guidance and direction to contractor personnel supporting the contract. 
  • Identify and communicate program risks, issues, and mitigation strategies to Customer leadership. 

Requirements

  • Clearance Requirement: Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of six (6) years of experience managing federal government programs, contracts, or task orders.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams supporting federal civilian agencies, defense organizations, or Department of Defense programs.
  • Experience managing cost, schedule, performance, and contract deliverables.
  • Strong knowledge of federal contracting and program management principles.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work directly with senior government officials and executive leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's  degree in a related discipline.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Experience supporting strategic planning, acquisition support, or executive support programs.
  • Experience managing professional services, operations support, or acquisition support contracts.
  • Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and federal acquisition processes.
