Description

Protection Assessment Analyst

Primary Location: Various U.S. Army Installations (CONUS) – field-based, extensive travel required

Clearance: Active Secret

Ability to work remotely: No – role requires on-site presence at Army installations to support assessment execution


Job Summary

OSG is seeking a Protection Assessment Analyst to support all assessment team activities, collect and organize assessment data, and document observations and findings. This role maintains assessment notes and evidence, drafts assessment reports, tracks findings and corrective actions, develops metrics and trend analyses, prepares executive briefing materials, and maintains assessment databases and collaboration portals in support of the assessment team's Assessment Documentation, Data Analytics, Corrective Action Program (CAP), Executive Reporting, and Metrics & Trend Analysis functions.


Specific Responsibilities

  • Support all assessment team activities.
  • Collect and organize assessment data.
  • Document observations and findings.
  • Maintain assessment notes and evidence.
  • Draft assessment reports.
  • Track findings and corrective actions.
  • Develop metrics and trend analyses.
  • Prepare executive briefing materials.
  • Maintain assessment databases and collaboration portals.
  • Coordinate report production and document control.


Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Homeland Security, Emergency Management, Criminal Justice, Public Administration, Information Management, Military Science, or a related discipline. Additional directly related military or Federal experience may be substituted for education requirements where contractually permissible.
  • Assessment documentation and report development.
  • Executive correspondence and briefing preparation.
  • Corrective Action Program (CAP) management.
  • Inspection support and organizational assessments.
  • Data collection, validation, and records management.
  • Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Teams, and document management systems.
  • Quality assurance and document control.
  • Required Certifications: Active Secret Security Clearance; DoD Cyber Awareness Training; OPSEC Level I; Antiterrorism Level I Awareness.
  • Clearance Level Required: Active Secret
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred Certifications: Lean Six Sigma Green Belt; Microsoft Office Specialist (Excel or Word); SharePoint Power User or equivalent collaboration platform training; Knowledge Management training; Top Secret clearance or eligibility.


Physical Requirements and Work Environment

  • Work is performed in both office and field environments, including on-site assessments at Army installations. Must be able to walk, stand, and stoop for extended periods while touring facilities and grounds, and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions during site assessments.

Travel

  • Extensive travel required (up to 75%) to support assessment team execution at Army installations across CONUS.
