Oak Grove Technologies, LLC, a dynamic and fast-growing federal contractor, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Range Helper to support operations at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Artesia, New Mexico.

Requirements

  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of range equipment, targets, and safety barriers.
  • Inspect, maintain, store, and prepare targets for use in firearms training.
  • Clean, store, and maintain water jugs for range personnel use.
  • Use hand and power tools to complete various maintenance and setup tasks.
  • Inspect, clean, and maintain indoor and outdoor ranges, ensuring a safe and functional environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the range and all supporting areas.
  • Monitor inventory of range supplies and assist with restocking as needed.
  • Assist with basic range upkeep.
  • Report safety concerns or equipment issues promptly.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Prior experience in range operations, facilities maintenance, or construction is a plus.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures.
  • Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail required.
  • Must pass a background check and applicable screenings.
  • Must be able to lift up to (50) pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. 
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of hire. In accordance with federal requirements, male applicants must be registered with the Selective Service System or provide proof of exemption. *

Compensation and Benefits: 

Competitive Pay, PTO, Health Benefits

This position pays a base hourly rate of $17.75 per hour, plus an additional $5.09 per hour in Health & Welfare (H&W) benefits, in accordance with the applicable Service Contract Act (SCA) requirements.
