The Colorado Floor Company has served Colorado home builders and families since 1988. We provide cabinets, countertops, flooring, lighting, stairs, trim, doors, and window coverings for production, semi-custom, and custom home builders and general contractors.
POSITION TYPE: Hourly non-exempt - $40,000 - $43,000
SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Design Center Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the design team by preparing, organizing, and executing design-related tasks.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcomes clients and vendors upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression
- Maintains organization of the Design Center, including materials, samples & displays
- Orders and tracks samples from vendors
- Builds and maintains strong, positive relationships with vendors
- Ensures the showroom remains clean, organized, and visually appealing
- Manages discontinued products, new product introductions, and sample updates within Design Center Updates and maintains software databases with pricing changes, product drops, and new product additions
- Creates custom & production templates for internal pricing software
- Builds design boards for builders
- Help prepare for design appointments by pulling products & crossing over materials
- Maintains accurate inventory of all Design Center products
- Creates and maintains informational notebooks/binders for each builder
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working in a professional office environment
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Teamwork mentality
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to multitask & manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Positive Attitude
