As a Quality Control Inspector here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in incoming inspection, verification and release of purchased parts/materials. A variety of techniques are used including dimensional, visual and paperwork verification requiring the usage of measuring tools, drawings, written instructions and verbal instructions. Any parts/material found to be non-conforming to customer requirements and/or drawings must be identified and documented.Â
You will work out of our Arvada, CO location on an On-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact product reliability and customer satisfaction by ensuring that all products leaving our facility adhere to strict quality standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
- 1st shift 6:30am - 3:00pm Monday - FridayÂ
- Perform incoming inspection of purchased parts/materials
- Identify and document non-conformance reportsÂ
- Measure, monitor, improve, and control KPIs
- Working closely with Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, and with external customer inspectors
- Actively participate, demonstrate and promote a culture of awareness, personal choice, peer support and continuous improvement relative to safety and qualityÂ
- Technical ability to read/interpret engineering drawings and industry/customer/supplier specificationsÂ
- Using calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, gauge blocks
- Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency using standard inspection methods and gages to inspect bar stock, castings and machined components is requiredÂ
You Must Have
- High school Diploma/GED equivalent
- 3+ years of QC inspection experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Master CMM Programmer with Calypso software experienceÂ
- 2+ years of Intermediate proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

- Ability to lift or move up to 35 pounds
- Familiarity with ASTM standards desirableÂ
- ASQ Certification – Certified Quality Inspector, Certified Calibration Technician; other certifications - AWS, ASNT

- Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy
