Job Title: Equipment Operator – Ash Flat (Batesville Transfer Station)

Location: Batesville, AR

Pay Range: $22/hr. | Weekly Pay

Schedule: Monday–Friday, occasional Saturday's | Start Time: 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM | 10+ Hour Days

Job Summary:

Waste Connections is hiring an Equipment Operator for our Batesville Transfer Station in the Batesville, Arkansas area. This is a physically demanding position ideal for someone with hands-on experience operating a front-end loader. In this position, you will contribute to the safe and efficient operation of the transfer station.

What You’ll Do:

• Back into the building to hook up to empty trailers, unhook the truck, and operate an excavator to move and mange solid waste at the transfer station
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area
• Perform daily inspections of equipment and report issues promptly
• Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operation
• Follow all safety procedures and operational protocols
• Support team needs and step in wherever needed to keep operations moving

What You Need to Bring:

• 2+ years experience operating front-end loader
• A strong safety mindset and attention to detail
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
