About This Role
As the Commercial Service Account Manager, you will be responsible for pursuing opportunities for service agreements, quick turn projects to keep our customers operating effectively, and pursuing large opportunities that help our customers modernize their equipment.Â
This role is a great fit if you excel at building relationships, have outstanding customer service skills, and love working with cross-functional teams. This is the ideal role for those that are adept at assessing and understanding both the immediate and future needs of customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell the full portfolio of Carrier HVAC Service products and solutions (i.e. service agreements, repairs and modernizations)Â
- Create and maintain Sales Territory and Account plans where necessaryÂ
- Present at customer seminars to develop new and existing customer relationships and opportunitiesÂ
- Promote Carrier value proposition linking customer objectives to Carrier solutionsÂ
- Utilize CRM to manage customer interactions, activities, and opportunity pipelineÂ
- Experienced seller in attracting new customers as well as building share value with existing customersÂ
- Ability to seek out and access new service agreement opportunities both with existing customers and new prospect customersÂ
- Ability to seek out or respond to repair opportunities Â
- Establishing and building credibility with knowledge of Carrier products/solutions Â
- Strong ability to develop and sustain customer relationshipsÂ
- Clearly articulate the value of Carrier’s value offerings and how they map to the customers’ needsÂ
- Ability to detect the Customer’s buying stage and adjust selling accordinglyÂ
- Effective presentation and communication skillsÂ
- Prioritize on best opportunitiesÂ
- Responding to the customer requirements in a timely mannerÂ
- Gaining the booking/order in a timely mannerÂ
- Ability to consistently achieve sales metrics and Annual TargetsÂ
- To effectively negotiate service agreement renewals when requiredÂ
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years’ experience with HVAC Service and Commercial Sales
- High School Diploma / GED required.Â
- Must be able lift/carry 20 pounds, climb ladders/stairs, be comfortable working on roofs/platformsÂ
- Must be able to pass an MVR.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Extremely comfortable operating in a technical environment utilizing Microsoft based computer softwareÂ
- Outstanding sales/negotiation skills and goal-orientated with strong time management and organizational skillsÂ
- Demonstrated strong written, verbal and presentation skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customersÂ
- Ability to sell directly to end user customerÂ
- Previous experience in selling service agreements Â
- Demonstrates ability to introduce others to cross sell and upsell within their base of customersÂ
- Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environmentÂ
- Demonstrated ability to introduce others to cross sell and upsell within their base of customersÂ
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities to proactively sell preventative repair / upgrade packagesÂ
- Self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects and responsibilitiesÂ
