Job DetailsJob Location: US NC Asheboro - Asheboro, NC 27205Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $21.07 - $36.00 HourlyJob Shift: 1st ShiftPosition Summary Highly skilled Maintenance Technician to perform and oversee installation, repair and maintenance of injection molding and automation equipment. Perform preventive maintenance and repairs to enhance performance and increase reliability of production and facilities equipment.    Essential Duties and Responsibilities  Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molding machines, auxiliary    equipment, and automation systems.   Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic systems.  Program and maintain take out robots.  Install and validate equipment and document results.  Document maintenance activities in accordance with quality system requirements.  Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent equipment downtime.  Support mold changes and setups to ensure production and engineering schedules are achieved.  Work with equipment vendors to locate spare and replacement parts.  Compliance with all corporate policies, ISO requirements, and OSHA regulations.    This job description indicates the general nature and level of work, duties and responsibilities expected of the incumbent.  The incumbent may be asked to perform other duties as required.  The job description may be changed if needed as determined by the Company.  What you will love about us:  Paid time off, 11 Paid Holidays, 401K after 90 days, Shift Differential, Referral bonus program, hourly bonus program, quarterly perfect attendance, Medical (PPO or High Deductible), Dental, Vision, Short term disability, long term disability, group life insurance, supplemental life for employee, spouse and children, critical illness, accident coverage, hospital indemnity, Employee Assistance Program, Education assistance, paid jury duty, bereavement leave, and service award program.   QualificationsRequired Competencies, Skills and Experience  Minimum of three (3) years experience in injection molding maintenance  Strong knowledge of molding machines (e.g., Arburg, Engel, Milacron)  Experience troubleshooting electrical circuits  Familiarity with mold temperature control units, dryers, conveyors and other auxiliary equipment.  Ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics  Strong communication and teamwork skills a must Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills required  Ability to work independently and in a team environment  Open to working a flexible schedule      Education and Job Experience Requirements  Associates degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Automation technology preferred Equivalent experience required    Work Environment and Physical Demands   Heavy lifting  High noise levels  Climbing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, kneeling  Manufacturing environment    The work environment and physical demands detailed above are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of the job.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.    Disclaimer  The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.  They are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required of personnel so classified.  All personnel may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time as needed.
