Dream Nannies is seeking an exceptional, highly flexible, and proactive family assistant for a wonderful family near Asheville, NC. The family has a 2-year-old and is expecting a new baby in January. They are looking for someone who will become a trusted partner in their home, providing loving, attentive childcare while also assisting with household management duties that allow Mom and Dad to spend more quality time with their children. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, adaptable, and a natural self-starter who notices what needs to be done and takes initiative without needing constant direction.

This position will average approximately 30 hours per week; however, the schedule will vary, so significant flexibility is essential. Responsibilities will include providing engaging and developmentally appropriate care for the children, planning activities and outings, supporting daily routines, preparing children's meals and bottles, assisting with family laundry, light meal preparation, household organization, restocking household essentials, tidying common areas, running errands, grocery shopping, handling returns, and taking on other household management tasks as needed. The family is looking for someone who genuinely enjoys a dual Nanny Manager role and can seamlessly shift between childcare and household responsibilities depending on the needs of the day. The family also has one dog, so candidates should be comfortable with pets.

Travel is an exciting and important part of this position! The family has a home in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, and is looking for someone who is able and willing to travel with them for extended periods. While in St. Thomas, the Nanny Manager will have their own private studio apartment, providing comfortable and separate accommodations during their stay. The ideal candidate will have strong infant and toddler experience, previous Nanny Manager, Family Assistant, or Household Manager experience, and the flexibility to accommodate the family's changing schedule. This position pays $32–$37 per hour, based on experience, and is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to become a trusted, long-term part of a family's household.
