Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Plant Manager, The Jr. Fitter/Welder will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Read and follow detailed written instructions and fabrication drawings.

• Perform accurate measurements and calculations using feet, inches, and fractions.

• Operate carbon air-arc equipment for back gouging processes.

• Ensure safe work practices are adhered to, and appropriate PPE is worn at all times.

Work Location:

• Asheville Fabrication Facility

• 1st Shift

• Monday to Friday

Training:

• Learn to read and interpret blueprints.

• Learn to read a tape measure.

• Learn to operate overhead cranes.

• Learn Health and Safety procedures.

• Learn to be a team player, who can interrelate and operate effectively with peers and other

associates within a collegial, yet demanding, work environment.

• Learn organizational skills and learn to be flexible in managing changing priorities.

• Learn communication skills – both written and oral.

• Learn analytical and problem-solving skills.
