What you will do聽
Receive service calls from Service Resource Center, including a brief description of equipment/system malfunctions.聽
Contact customer representative and ascertain equipment/systems problems.聽
Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications.聽
These include but are not limited to wet (steel, copper and CPVC), dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps.聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Follow prescribed troubleshooting procedures and refer to technical manuals, part manuals, change notices and bulletins, modification notices, etc., to diagnose and repair equipment.聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications software/systems, programs, schematics, and operational product manuals.聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Exhibit effective customer service skills by consistently communicating with the district staff and customers to ensure complete customer satisfaction.聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Electronically complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding and obtain customer鈥檚 signature.聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Participate in a scheduled On-call rotation.聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Perform other duties as assigned.聽
What we look for聽聽
Required聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 3-5 years of documented experience in Fire Sprinkler/Suppression industry
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, submittals, and operational/product manuals
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 High School Diploma or equivalent required
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to follow verbal and written instructions C
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult position such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Able to participate in an on-call rotation schedule
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Demonstrate a high level of customer service
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs Ability to adhere to, implement, and always follow safety guidelines and procedures.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Possess a valid driver鈥檚 license and driving record that meets company requirements
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $22-$27 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge,聽skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
