Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Ā 

Ā 

The Comprehensive Clinical Assessor:Ā 

  • Provides comprehensive clinical assessments for youth entering OR transitioning within the service continuum of Youth VillagesĀ Ā 

  • Conducts face-to-face evaluation virtually or in-person (in the office, community, or home)Ā 

  • Assesses the individual’s presenting mental health, developmental disability, and/or substance-related conditions and symptoms (including but not limited to: source of distress, precipitating events, associated problems or symptoms, recent progressions, and current medications)Ā 

  • Gathers biological, psychological, familial, social, developmental, and environmental dimensions and identifies strengths, weaknesses, risk factors, and protective factors in each area for development of the person-centered planĀ 

  • Issues a written assessment summarizing the clinical service recommendation for the development of the PCP and initiation of needed servicesĀ 

  • Coordinates care activities (including but not limited to: written progress or summary reports, telephone communication, treatment planning processes, and other activities jointly determined by the referring provider)Ā 

  • Attends 3 weekly meetings (individual, team, and clinical consultation) for professional development and quarterly booster training sessions to enhance clinical skillsĀ Ā 

  • Completes accurate and timely documentation in an electronic medical record system (EMR)Ā 

  • Performs other duties as assignedĀ

Additional Information:Ā Ā 

  • This position incorporates both community-based and office-based responsibilities; schedules vary by location.Ā 

  • Applicants must possess a current, valid driver’s license, an automobile for work purposes, and proof of auto insurance.Ā 

  • Community-based staff will be reimbursed for applicable mileage.Ā 

Ā 

Salary:

$67,000 - $69,000 based on education and license

Qualifications:Ā 

  • Master's degree in a social services discipline (required)Ā 

    • Degrees that can be considered include: social work, drug and alcohol education or counseling, psychology, criminal justice, guidance counseling, or marriage and family therapy (others subject to review)Ā 

  • Must be clinically licensed (LCMHC, LMSW, LMFT, or LCSW) in the applicable state (required)Ā 

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detailĀ 

  • Excellent written, verbal, and oral skillsĀ Ā 

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyĀ Ā 

  • Basic computer knowledgeĀ Ā 

  • Ability to maintain a flexible scheduleĀ
