Material Handler - Fork Lift Operator - 2nd Shift

Arcadia Beverage, in Arden, NC, is a pasteurized cold fill scale contract packager of non-alcoholic / non-carbonated beverages for major retailers and food service distributors. We make orange juices, lemonades, and teas in ready to drink bottles.

Job Description:

We are currently looking for an energetic, dedicated and flexible, Material Handler (Fork Lift Operator) to join our outstanding team! The main role will be moving finished good pallets from production into the refrigerated warehouse (35 degrees). The role also includes GMP cleaning responsibilities, inventory counting and computer usage. The position would be Full Time (at least 40 hours per week) with the opportunity for Overtime, depending on plant volume and candidate's willingness to be flexible with schedule. 

Base Schedule will be: Monday / Tuesday / Thursday / Friday - 2:00 PM - 12:30 AM (40 hours)

Additional Potential Days: Wednesday or Saturday 2:00 PM - 12:30 AM (depends on plant volume)

Main Activities:

• Move finished goods pallets from production into the warehouse. 
• Operate manual and auto pallet wrappers. 
• Monitor label application accuracy on finished pallets. 
• Use RF Scanners and ERP system to move and enter data.
• Prepare and take periodic cycle count inventory.
• Identify and rework damaged materials
• Weekly warehouse and equipment cleaning tasks as directed.

Pay: Starting at $19.00 / $22.10 after 90 Days

• Forklift certification and experience or willingness to learn. Minimum of one year of forklift experience preferred.
