AAMCI-Management, Inc. has a property in Mechanicsville, VA looking to hire a full-time Property Maintenance Technician to preserve the long-term value and desirability of our community. WORK SCHEDULE

This full-time position works Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with participation in an on-call rotation required. (premium pay for on-call). Pay is $20- $22 based on experience and certification.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PROPERTY MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

As a Property Maintenance Technician, you ensure that our residents have safe, comfortable apartments in good repair and that they are happy with the level of service that they receive. You promptly address any concerns that arise in the apartments of current residents and make the appropriate handyman repairs. When a resident moves out, you work hard to make the apartment move-in ready for the next resident within 5 days of the vacancy. You are organized and keep accurate records regarding preventative maintenance, work orders, inspections, and inventories.

You participate in our on-call emergency rotation for evenings, weekends, and holidays. You enjoy interacting with people and are known for being calm, friendly, responsive, and capable. With pride, you contribute to the cleanliness and curb appeal of the community. Each shift brings a combination of daily checklists and unexpected surprises. You love that you are never bored! QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PROPERTY MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

2+ years of maintenance experience
Painting
Unit turns
Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, hvac, carpentry, and general handyman work
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
