About the Role:
- Cooperate with leading partners in vertical markets and industries such as K-12, higher education, federal, state, and local governments, multi-family residential & MURB, healthcare, and datacenters.
- Develop business opportunities, conduct needs assessment (customer site walks), write proposals for system installation and service opportunities, follow up with customers to convert opportunities to closed-won business.
- Increase and develop market awareness through networking, presentations, eventattendanceand industry associations.
- Collaborate and partner with the Security Integrations Department to manage and complete projects,delivering withquality and on time.
- Represent APV as a reliable, innovative supplier of high-quality innovative doors, frames, hardware, and security products.
- Work with established APV vendors to promote and service their products.
- Generate sales that meet the company’s marginobjectivesthrough the identification and conversion of leads, referrals, invitations to bid, and add-on replacement opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, ora relatedfield preferred.
- Three (3) or more years of sales experience within a complex, technical, and diverse B2B business structure is strongly desired.
- Extensive experience working within a security integrator and/or with access controls is highlyadvantageous.
- Candidates must be DCJS registered or have a clean, clear profilein order topass background checks and obtain DCJS registration, as required by the State of VA.
- Professional certifications with enterprise level electronic access control or camera systems desired.
