Service Advisor
Ashland, VA | Vermeer All Roads
 
Make an immediate impact at Vermeer All Roads in Ashland, VA as a Service Advisor. Act as the first point of contact for our service department and our customers. This role is ideal for someone who is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and enjoys working around heavy equipment. You’ll coordinate repairs, communicate timelines, and ensure a first-class customer experience. Prior service advisor experience is required; heavy equipment or heavy-duty background preferred.
 
Compensation
• Base salary plus monthly commission (based on experience)
• Full-time, Monday - Friday

Responsibilities
• Provide excellent customer service and act as liaison between customers and the dealership
• Schedule service appointments and prepare accurate estimates
• Advise customers on maintenance based on manufacturer specifications
• Create, update, and document repair and work orders
• Maintain strong customer relationships to drive retention and referrals
• Proactively update customers on repair status, estimate changes, and pickup timing
• Perform other duties as assigned
 
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Previous service writing/advisor experience required
• Heavy-duty or heavy-equipment experience preferred
• Strong customer service, multitasking, prioritization, and efficiency skills
