Skillforce is currently hiring experienced Maintenance technicians for a project in Ashland, VA. This is a 2-week contract opportunity with a well-established contractor supporting a specialized mechanical project. As a Maintenance Technician your responsibilities on this job will be changing filters and cleaning coils on outdoor data cooling systems.
This role is ideal for Maintenance technicians who are mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while following established procedures and project checklists.
HVAC Technician Responsibilities
Perform filter changes and coil cleanings on outdoor data cooling systems
Utilize basic electrical knowledge to support HVAC equipment components
Follow project checklists and detailed work instructions to ensure quality deliverables
Use hand tools to complete mechanical and electrical tasks
Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols
Work independently while meeting production and quality expectations
HVAC Technician Requirements
Maintenance experience or familiarity with HVAC systems and components
Basic electrical knowledge
Strong mechanical aptitude
Proficiency using common hand tools
Clean background required
Certifications Required
OSHA 10 Certification
