What You'll Do

  • Weld, fabricate, repair, and modify metal forms, molds, and production equipment used in concrete pipe manufacturing
  • Build and repair forms, tooling, and other components needed to support production operations
  • Perform metal cutting, fitting, grinding, and fabrication using a variety of shop tools and equipment
  • Inspect forms and equipment for wear or damage and complete repairs as needed
  • Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and measurements to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly
  • Work with production and maintenance teams to address equipment and tooling issues
  • Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Support continuous improvement efforts that enhance safety, quality, and productivity

What You'll Need

  • 1-3 years of welding, fabrication, or related industrial experience
  • Experience with welding, metal fabrication, and steel form repair techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and work orders
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure, use measuring tools, and perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Experience using welding equipment, metal cutting torches, saws, grinders, and other fabrication tools
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated safe work habits and commitment to workplace safety
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds

Your Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Vocational Degree Preferred
