Job DetailsJob Location: Green Bay, WI 54304Position Type: Full TimeJoin DeWitt LLP DeWitt LLP is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our Green Bay office. This full-time, in-person position provides direct support to two attorneys, whose practices focus on business law, mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate, corporate governance, and complex business transactions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional client service while supporting sophisticated transactional legal work. What You'll Do As a Legal Assistant, you will play an integral role in helping our attorneys provide responsive, high-quality legal services to businesses, entrepreneurs, developers, and commercial clients. Responsibilities include: Prepare, proofread, revise, and format a variety of legal documents, correspondence, contracts, closing documents, and corporate records. Assist with mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate transactions, entity formations, corporate governance matters, and commercial contracts. Organize and maintain electronic and physical client files. Coordinate transaction timelines, due diligence materials, and closing checklists. Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate client communications. Prepare expense reports, time entries, and client billing information. Open new client matters, perform conflict checks, and maintain accurate client records. Communicate professionally with clients, financial institutions, title companies, government agencies, and other outside contacts. Assist with document management and e-filing when appropriate. Perform additional administrative and legal support duties as assigned. QualificationsEducation Requirements Education: Associate degree, High School Diploma, GED Equivalent, or industry-specific certifications. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will possess: Prior legal assistant, executive assistant, or professional administrative experience (law firm experience preferred). Experience supporting business, corporate, or commercial real estate attorneys is a plus. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. The ability to prioritize competing deadlines while maintaining accuracy. A proactive, team-oriented approach and a commitment to outstanding client service. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and Teams. Experience with legal document management and timekeeping systems is preferred. Why DeWitt?
