Job DetailsJob Location: Maroon Creek Location - Aspen, CO 81611Position Type: SeasonalEducation Level: NoneSalary Range: $22.00 - $25.00 HourlyJob Shift: AnyJob Category: Restaurant - Food ServicePOOL SERVER/ FOOD RUNNER Pool servers must have friendly and positive personalities.  They should always address members (and their families and their guests) with a smile and by name whenever possible.  Uniform and apron should be clean and presentable at all times.  Pool servers are expected to develop a thorough knowledge of the menu and the ingredients of each item.  A basic understanding of bar drinks and wines offered by the glass will also be required. Servers are responsible for setting up and breaking down the wait stations on a daily basis, stocking all supplies as needed for service, informing supervisors of low supplies, wiping down tables and chairs, opening and closing umbrellas, arranging lounge chairs around the pool, making sure they have enough member chits and pens for the day, taking and entering orders into a POS touch-screen system, delivering food and beverages, keeping the pool area clean of trash, towels and pool toys, running food from the back kitchen when assigned to that area, keeping the back kitchen service area clean (including the reach-in cooler), breaking down the coffee station, and prepping it appropriately for the next day of service.   POOL BARTENDER: The pool bartender must also be friendly and have a positive personality at all times.  Like the servers, the uniform must be clean and presentable at all times.  He/she, too, is required to have full knowledge of the menu and the bar/wine offerings on this end of the building.  This position is also responsible for setting up the bar for service by stocking all supplies needed, making sure all product is fresh and presentable, keeping the bar area clean (including the coolers), retrieving and counting the pool's cash bank, taking employee orders, taking money (when necessary), making all drink orders for servers, taking orders and getting signed chits from customers who come to the bar for service, entering those orders into the POS system, completing a reconciliation sheet, depositing money, locking the bar, and helping other servers as needed. Pool bartenders will also be expected to sweep and/or mop behind the bar when scheduled and will be required to help clean/maintain the soft-serve ice cream machine on designated days. These are seasonal positions Memorial Day thru Labor Day.Qualifications
