Primary Functions:

Recruitment, Training and Development, Performance Management, Employee Relations, Employment Law and Compliance, Compensation and Benefits Administration, Payroll & HR Systems



Responsibilities include, but not limited to:



  • Manage staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding
  • Ensure job descriptions are current and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations
  • Develop training materials and performance management programs to ensure employees understand and have resources to complete their job responsibilities
  • Create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys; keeps the strategy up to date
  • Benefits administration including work compensation, unemployment, and CO FAMLI claims
  • Investigates employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution
  • Use performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team
  • Maintain company organization charts and employee directory
  • Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives
  • Conduct performance and salary reviews
  • Design and implement employee retention strategies
  • Implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures
  • Develop/maintain Employee Handbook and ensure all company policies are applied consistently
  • Ensure the organization’s compliance with local, state and federal regulations
  • Supports every Hansen department and project, efficiently and effectively, furthering the company’s values.
  • Develop and maintain employee recognition program
  • Perform additional assignments as requested/needed.

 

Travel Requirements:  <5%

 

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:



  • Four-year degree in human resources related field
  • Minimum 5 years experience in related field with background in recruiting
  • Strong understanding of Federal, State and local labor regulations affecting the industry and their effects on the company
  • PHR/SPHR/SHRM certifications desired
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Willingness to multi-task and work a flexible schedule as needed
