We are currently hiring for a PRN Medical Lab Technician within the Clinical Laboratory department here at Aspen Valley Health.

Compensation Range:

$45.15 - $72.24 Night and weekend shift differentials up to $10 per hour!

The compensation range listed is an estimate. Final compensation will be determined based on your qualifications including years of experience performing similar work, level of formal education in a relevant field of study, and any professional certifications related to the position.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
  • Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology
  • American Society for Clinical Pathology - Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
  • Successful completion of a supervised one year clinical internship.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with EPIC preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Position Overview:

Under supervision, the Medical Lab Technician performs routine and special laboratory assays of patient specimens in all sections of Clinical Laboratory Medicine to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Performs various microscopic, chemical, hematological, immunologic, or bacteriologic assays according to established standards. Calibrates and operates all instruments and equipment according to preventive maintenance schedule.
