Transportation Driver - Stonewall County Hospital District

Stonewall County Hospital District is seeking a dedicated and responsible Transportation Driver to join our healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:

- Safely operate hospital vehicles to transport patients, staff, and medical supplies within the community and to designated locations including Kent County and Dickens County

- Assist patients with boarding and disembarking from vehicles, ensuring their comfort and safety

- Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of hospital vehicles

- Follow all traffic laws and hospital policies to ensure safe transportation

- Document transportation activities accurately and report any vehicle issues or incidents promptly

- Coordinate with hospital staff to schedule and prioritize transportation needs

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

- Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification

- Valid and clean driving record

- Proven experience in patient transportation or similar roles preferred

- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and compassion

- Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed
