We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Coordinator to join our Finance & Accounting team at our Assumption, IL facility. The ideal candidate will The Credit Coordinator help support the day-to-day activities of the accounts receivable and credit function. This role is a good fit for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with numbers, and interested in building a foundation in accounting or finance.

Your Impact

Daily Cash Posting
Manage discrepancies related to customer payments
Obtain and manage sales tax certificates on our third-party portal
Process customer credits related to returns, co-ops, tax etc.
Field any inbound customer related inquiries
Assist with compiling documentation during audits
Cover the front desk welcome and receptionist duties, as needed

Your Experience and Qualifications

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required
Associate degree in accounting, finance, or business preferred
0–2 years of experience in accounting, accounts receivable, administrative support, or customer service preferred
Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
Ability to learn ERP or accounting systems quickly
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good organizational and time management skills
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Dependable with strong follow-through and professionalism

Preferred Skills

Experience with invoicing, cash application, or payment posting
Familiarity with SAP or other ERP/accounting systems
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Customer-focused mindset with the ability to communicate professionally

Your Compensation and Benefits

Expected salary for this role will be $18 – $20 per hour, plus eligible for an annual bonus. This is dependent upon job related knowledge, experience, and skills.
