PCT and or NA use patient care best practices to provide a safe, comfortable, and healing environment for all patients always adhering to Amberwell cultural priorities. The PCT/NA must be comfortable working with specific populations, including elderly patients and those with special needs, being a good team player with empathy and compassion a must.   Their duties include but are not limited to:   Helping patients bathe and maintain proper hygiene Assisting with toileting needs Feeding patients and providing fresh water Assessing patients vital signs and behavior and notify staff of any changes Checking blood sugar levels and monitoring intake and output Preparing patient rooms with necessary items Assisting patients with mobility needs and transfers Turning and repositioning patients to prevent bedsores and other discomfort ABOUT AMBERWELL HEALTH: Amberwell Health is a healthcare system dedicated to improving the health and wellness of the communities we serve, providing compassionate healthcare with clinical excellence.
