Job DetailsJob Location: Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital - Athens, GA 30306Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: NoneTravel Percentage: NoneJob Category: Commercial Custodian - FTJOB TITLE: EVS Attendant EMPLOYER: Level Seven Commercial Cleaning DEPARTMENT: Operations UPDATED: 04/2026 REPORTS TO: Shift Supervisor, Director of EVS SUMMARY: Cleans and sanitizes rooms and furnishings in assigned work areas, following established policies and procedures in order to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the hospital. Attention to detail and a positive attitude are a must. The right person is punctual, thorough, but fast, and eager to learn. Experience cleaning medical facilities is a plus. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Adheres to the company’s safety policies and operational procedures. Adheres to the company’s service standards. Cleans In-Patient/Out-Patient areas. Vacuums. Cleans rooms following patient discharges. Maintains equipment Adheres to chemical usage procedures. Maintains adequate supplies. Cleans staff and public restrooms. Practices universal precaution. Maintains clean storage and supply closets. PERIODICAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Air grills and returns, as well as restroom exhaust fan grills, are wiped clean once per month. Baseboards, switch plates, door kick plates, miscellaneous scuffs on walls (e.g., under desks), and other areas susceptible to scuffs and/or hand marks are wiped clean monthly. Blinds are dusted once per quarter (if applicable). QualificationsREQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Knowledge of cleaning equipment and processes preferred. Knowledge of cleaning equipment and processes preferred. Ability to make minor decisions concerning prioritizing work assignments. Aware of potential impact to facility and patients when performing cleaning functions. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Experience in medical facility cleaning is a plus.
