About the Role:

4HORSEMEN INVESTIGATIONS & SECURITY is looking for a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team in Athens, GA. This is your opportunity to play a critical role in keeping people, property, and assets safe while working with a respected security firm. Responsibilities:

Monitor and patrol assigned premises to prevent unauthorized access, theft, or vandalism
Conduct regular security checks of buildings, entrances, and perimeters
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies following proper protocols
Document and report suspicious activity, security breaches, and daily observations in incident reports
Control access points by verifying credentials and managing visitor entry
Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary
Maintain a visible, professional presence to deter criminal activity

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED equivalent
Valid Georgia Security Guard license or ability to obtain one
Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military is a plus
Strong observational and situational awareness skills
Excellent communication and report-writing abilities
Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
Clean background check and professional demeanor
