We are seeking an Executive Sous Chef needed to run our high-volume sports and entertainment culinary department. This position will report to the corporate office but effectively head up our rapidly growing arena and concessions kitchens in and around Atlanta. Responsibilities: Responsible for all culinary aspects of the business center. If it involves food, it involves you! Working directly with our Corporate Executive Chef to lead and develop all of our chefs at our stadium and arena properties. Maintaining the highest level of food quality through your culinary teams. Capable of producing a consistent product in a timely manner. Ensure proper safety and sanitation of all kitchen/food service areas. Develop and implement creative menu items that adhere to the Proof of the Pudding standard. Maintaining the highest level of service through the GM’s at your several facilities. Working with sales team to drive sales for the company and expertly, flawlessly execute each event. Complete knowledge of the financials through the accounting team at your facility. Keeping employee/team morale at the highest level. Work Environment This position will be stationed at the University of Georgia located in Athens, GA. This position will spend the majority of time in the kitchen working with typical kitchen equipment including knives, electrical mixers, ovens, hot pans, and more.  Uniform Requirements Adherence to Company Uniform Requirements outlined in the Associate Handbook, uniform requirements outlined in your orientation guidelines. Non-slip shoes are necessary. Physical Demands: Prolonged periods of standing, moving through a kitchen space Bending, lifting, scooping, and carrying miscellaneous equipment and food items Ability to perform physical tasks; such as but not limited to, lifting approx. 40 lbs.
