We are seeking PRN compassionate and dedicated State Tested Nursing Assistants to join our healthcare team for night shift (6p-6a). The STNAs play a vital role on our care team by providing empathetic, patient-centered, hands-on support that helps residents maintain dignity, comfort, and quality of life. STNAs work closely with nurses and other team members to assist residents with daily activities, monitor their well-being, and create a safe, welcoming environment where residents feel valued and cared for. Flexible Short Shifts Available! We offer convenient short shifts from 5:00 AM–10:00 AM and 4:00 PM–10:00 PM, making it easier to fit work into your life. These STNA schedules are perfect for STNAs who want to work part-time, stay-at-home moms and dads, nursing students, retired or semi-retired STNAs, or anyone looking to earn extra income while maintaining work-life balance. Responsibilities Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure Provide support to nursing staff by preparing equipment and assisting with medical procedures Maintain a clean and safe patient environment by adhering to infection control protocols Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient needs and progress Document patient care accurately in electronic health records Support patients with disabilities by providing tailored assistance to enhance their quality of life Participate in hospice care for terminally ill patients, ensuring comfort and dignity during their final days Qualifications Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or in a similar role is preferred Knowledge of geriatrics, medical-surgical care, physiology, and hospice care is highly desirable Ability to work effectively with individuals living in a SNU/SNF Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of an accredited nursing assistant program Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting and moving patients Join a team committed to putting people first—every resident, every day.
